LOBA LO500P Ford Focus RS Upgrade Sport Turbocharger
We take a factory brand new OE turbocharger and optimize with 5-AXIS CNC machining processes to reduce back pressure to maximize throughput, utilize the latest new improved more efficient and extremely light weight yet very strong V3 LOBA Motorsport billet compressor, unique in design, geometry and size, and also use a larger turbine wheel that we clip to reduce back pressure and weight, then fit a reinforced axial bearing, after all that the whole unit including the single parts are balanced to far higher standards than OE, for the very best compromise between power output, longevity and turbo response.
LO500P delivers powerful, refined consistent performance, without the lag of a big turbo. LO500P is a more durable unit suited for motorsport use.
The following LOBA specific optimizations were applied:
- LOBA state-of-the-art V3 “Extended Tip” billet compressor wheel – unique design, geometry and size
- LOBA 5-axis CNC re-profiled compressor housing and backplate
- LOBA 5-axis CNC re-profiled turbine housing
- LOBA special clipped turbine wheel
- LOBA optimized clearances
- LOBA modified actuator
- LOBA uprated bearing
- LOBA precision balancing of individual components and CHRA (less than 0.05 gmm)
- Made in Germany
Depending on engine management settings, engine condition and other components utilized this turbo is capable of producing 500+ PS
This turbocharger uses LOBA Motorsport own unique billet aluminium compressor wheel, this compressor offers much greater strength and durability over cast compressors.
LOBA Motorsport billet compressor wheels are 25% lighter than original used cast items for unmatched response.
