In the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S generation 997 Porsche released the very first gasoline-driven engine with turbochargers featuring variable turbine geometry (VTG) mechanism in cooperation with BorgWarner. The system allows to influence the response of the turbocharger as well as power and torque curve actively. The results are impressive, of course we would never pass on the VTG system in the course of upgrading the turbos, as some other turbocharger manufacturers do.
By retaining the VTG turbo setup and also using the larger GT2 exhaust housing for increased output and LOBA Motorsport latest forged billet compressors, that are unique in design, geometry and size. Using a forged billet we can CNC machine the nose and stem of the compressor wheel significantly smaller to allow for a greater blade area and diameter for inducer size, blades can be made thinner so more efficient and flowing more air then say same size billet compressor wheel. these compressors offers much greater strengh and durabilty over cast compressors and standard billet types. The end result is a compressor of extreme lightness and durability, fast unmatched response and efficiency.
Results are that we are able to maintain lightning fast spool up thats even better then stock 997 units and make power levels reserved only for the most exclusive exotic hyper cars yet still retain the cars comfort for every day drivability. The outcome is our highest performance variant to date. The LOBA Motorsport LO750 VTG Upgrade Sport turbochargers are well suited for road and race.

- Clipped turbine wheels

- LOBA Precision balancing of individual components and CHRA (less than 0.03gmm)

Depending on engine management settings, engine condition and other components utilized these turbos are capable of producing upto 750PS with correct hardware and the right hands.
